The Silk House Hotel - Leek

We had nice 1 day here, can just recommend. A perfect and gorgeous place, we enjoyed its beautiful location. It took only 5 minutes to walk to Sneyd Street bus stop.

The double room was beautifully decorated, unique, with a large bathroom. The hotel had a central location right in the town centre. It was also just off shops and restaurants, the beautiful beer garden at the back of the building and nature of business.

Honestly nothing too much trouble.

Comfortable bed, convenient location, made exploring the city easy and enjoyable given the nearby coffee shop and business center for quick refreshments.

The warm ambiance of the period décor created a lovely atmosphere for our stay. Our double room was spacious with comfortable furnishings.

While the stay was enjoyable, some amenities were lacking.

The silk house hotel was really quaint n i loved the character of the place! Host was super friendly n cute! Room was also clean n comfy, just what we needed after a long day exploring leek. We got drinks served in our room which was a nice touch, n the location was perfect for all the shops n restaurants nearby. Definitely would come back again!

Only complaint is that the parking is not what we expected, was just street parking. Also the noise from the road was a bit much at night.

Had a lovely stay! The spacious bath was a highlight, and I adored the friendly service we received during our time. The quirky bar area is full of charm, but it needs some tidying up compared to the pictures. Will definitely return!

Charming, Cozy, Cozy

The character of this beautiful townhouse hotel stole my heart! My spacious double room was equipped with all the essentials. A huge comfy bed that hugged me goodnight. The bar area had such a lovely decor with fine stained-glass windows-a perfect backdrop for sipping a drink after exploring.

Silk house is a lovely period townhouse hotel right in the town center. We enjoyed great service upon arrival, where the host asked if we preferred a bath or shower. We chose the bath and it was so relaxing! The room was modern, clean, and had everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities. The stained glass window in the bathroom was a beautiful touch.

Traffic noise from the street can be disruptive, especially for front-facing rooms, which could benefit from secondary glazing for a quieter experience. Parking is limited to street parking, which may not be ideal for everyone, and some nearby restaurants being closed on Mondays limited dining options .

I enjoyed the comfy standard double room and loved unwinding in the peaceful garden area with some lovely flowers. The hammocks were a nice touch too, perfect for chilling out. Just a heads up, breakfast wasn't available when I expected it, but overall, I had a great stay! 😊

The host Nicholas welcomed me warmly upon arrival. Check-in felt seamless. My Standard Double Room was clean and cozy, perfect for my solo getaway. The complimentary drinks in my room added a nice touch. I enjoyed the lovely stained glass accents throughout the hotel. Being close to shops and restaurants made everything convenient. I did find the street noise a bit overwhelming at night, hard to sleep well. The parking was another downside. It turned out to be just street parking, not what I expected. Despite these issues, the overall cozy vibe and friendly atmosphere were nice. I'd consider returning if the noise situation gets addressed.
